Our Savior, Jesus Christ, came to save us all-every single one of us. But he didn’t save us collectively. He didn’t minister collectively. He doesn’t have a blanket love for all of us at once. His love, pure love- charity- can only be manifest in one way: one by one. His earthly ministry is a testimony of this. And His continued ministry to each one of us from the other side of the veil bears witness of this as well.

Have you ever felt like you can’t see a solution to your difficulties? …He gave sight to the blind man. (Luke 18)

Have you ever been sick physically, emotionally or spiritually? …He healed the leper-completely. No scarring. (Luke 5, 17)

Have you ever felt scared, overcome with paralyzing fear? …He saved Peter from drowning. (Matt 14)

Have you ever felt like no one really cares about you? That you are a nobody? That you are too low for even the Savior?…He dined with the publicans and sinners. (Matt 9, Mark 2)

Have you ever felt like you might die of grief or sorrow?….He brought Lazarus back to life. (John 11)

Have you ever felt overcome with guilt?…He swept Enos’ guilt away in one miraculous moment. (Enos 1)

Have you ever felt like you aren’t doing what He needs you to do?….He showed the Brother of Jared how to get back on the path. (Ether 2)

Have you ever wondered if you can withstand the pressure and heat from the opposition in your life?…He was betrayed by one of his closest friends, spit upon, humiliated, and crowned with thorns in mockery of His beliefs. (Matt 27)

Have you ever wondered if He will answer your deepest pleadings or honest questions?….He appeared to a boy of 14 to answer his question. (JSH)

Have you ever wondered why your life path looks different than everybody else’s?…Peter and Paul walked completely unique paths-both under His direction.

Have you ever wondered why it seems like He is ignoring you?…He assured Joseph that his afflictions would be but a small moment. (DAC 121)

Have you ever wondered if your small, seemingly imperceptible contribution to His kingdom even matters?…He venerated the widow for casting in her mite. (Mark 12)

Have you ever shrunk from testifying or teaching? So did Peter…Christ forgave him fully.

Have you ever wondered if you can really, truly, possibly change?…Saul did. So did both Almas and the people of Ammon. (Acts 8-9, Mosiah 17, Mosiah 27)

Have you ever wondered if He really cares about you as an individual?….He stood for hours and invited a great multitude of 2500 Nephites to come one by one to feel His scars and KNOW OF HIS LOVE for them as individuals. (3 Nephi 11)

Have you ever felt like He couldn’t possibly know how you are feeling?…He descended below all things that He might know how to succor YOU according to YOUR infirmities. (DAC 122, Alma 7)
